Maine Lobstering

For more than ten years I have been drawn to an old pier and a lobsterman’s shack on the edge of an abandoned lobster pound. I have been documenting it from the days when it was a flourishing business to its present day use by one remaining lobsterman. I am drawn to the ruggedness of a lobsterman’s life and the weather beating this building and pier have taken. Destruction and beauty at the same time.
